Yesterday over 500 children aged between 5 and 11 years received their first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 Paediatric Vaccine. This represents approximately one-third of the children in this bracket on Rarotonga.
Today the paediatric roll-out continues between 8am and 6pm. Please bring your children to the Social Centre in Nikao between these times.
Tomorrow will be the last day in this round for Paediatric Vaccinations.
Tomorrow afternoon Te Marae Ora will be extending the roll-out to include anyone 12 years and over who wishes to continue or begin their COVID-19 vaccinations, that is, doses 1, 2 and the booster (3rd) dose will be available tomorrow afternoon between 1-6pm.
Please note three months is now the interval needed between your second and booster/third dose. So, if you had your second dose on or before 5th November you can get your booster/third dose tomorrow.
Please come along to the Social Centre, everyone is welcome.
On Monday the paediatric vaccination team moves to Aitutaki.
