Exercise extreme caution with Epsom salts
Epsom salts should not be taken without a medical doctor’s advice. Many of our people have NCDs, like heart disease and diabetes and should not stop taking their medicines unless directed by their doctor. Those who are promoting this Epsom salt solution need to cease this action immediately.

Dengue Outbreak Over
The dengue outbreak in the Cook Islands is now officially over. There have been no confirmed cases reported since early September, with only two probable cases reported in the six weeks from mid-September to the end of October.

The Cook Islands Cabinet met today and approved the continuation of the air border closure for inwards passenger travel, with exemptions, which no longer include 14 days supervised quarantine on arrival.
